Gratitude Beads by Dawn Breeze

This practice a tactile way of physically exercising an emotion and concept of thanks giving. They become a sacred object that acts as a navigation tool, by directing our appreciative attention to what we experience and have. By bringing our attention to what we care about, and acknowledging it, we are gifted in return with a feeling of well-being. Gratitude can be considered a pathway to joy; it is an antidote to despair and apathy.  It does not erase or negate pain, but helps us see the good that coexists with suffering. What we pay attention to manifolds. If we attend to what we love through gratitude, it will grow.
